Our vibrant company is looking for an enthusiastic Front-End Engineer to join our highly motivated and talented team to work on our web platform.

Our team of front end developers are building React user interface components using the latest ES6 technologies and managing their state with Redux using the popular presentation and container component patterns.
We develop our components using Storybook to produce and tweak the user interface; we track our progress in JIRA, and we write our tests with Jest and Enzyme.
Our ecosystem uses Flow for type checking; Sass (SCSS) modules for keeping our components modular and we bundle code using Webpack.
We are constantly updating and improving our platform, running the latest versions of React, Redux and Webpack so we can utilize the latest and greatest features.
No lies here - we still have a few Angular bits in our admin platform, but we are currently working to migrate them to React, too.
We favor quality over quantity. That’s why we take time to review every piece of code that gets merged. And we also have ESLint and Flow checking our commits. But that doesn’t mean we don’t move fast. We aim to deploy to production every day!
All of our team members have side projects or go to meetups (React, FEL, etc.). That’s one of our ways to drive innovation, by bringing ideas tested elsewhere, and we take time out each month out to show each other new technologies that are inspiring us, as well as hold regular weekly team catch-ups.
We work hard and play hard – enjoying fancy pubs and bars - or our very own rooftop when it gets sunny. We’re also avid HQ Trivia players – although we’re yet to get all 12 questions right in one game!
- ReactJS / Redux experience
- Good Sass (SCSS) skills, including responsive designs
- Git knowledge (branching, pull requests)
- Understanding of Webpack
- Good to have but not essential – knowledge of Flow and Jest
- Familiar with how Restful API’s work
- Knowledge of how the full stack fits together a plus - we’re integrating with both PHP and Serverless APIs
- Passionate and happy :)
- Excellent communication skills
